Progetto Artistico | Octopus

Octopus Lab Project era una rete di persone che si confrontava, collaborava e che cercava di promuovere il proprio lavoro, pur perseguendo strade a volte molto diverse.

Sono stati anni molto fertili dove abbiamo fatto di tutto: costruito mostri di paglia, serigrafato centinaia di magliette (e ne abbiamo sbagliate altrettante), partecipato a fiere ed eventi, gestito un temporary shop, organizzato un festival di street art e disegnato un po’ dove capitava. Soprattutto sono nati rapporti di amicizia e di stima che durano ancora. Anche se sono passati un po’ di anni, a pensarci bene, molti dei progetti attuali sono i figli di questa bellissima esperienza.

Il progetto ha visto la partecipazione di tanti, ma i più coinvolti sono stati P54, James Kalinda, Elisa Maestri con la sua Grapefruit Art Book ed io.

Artistic Project | Octopus

Octopus Lab Project was a network of people who confront each other, collaborated and tried to promote their work, while pursuing sometimes very different paths.

For many very fertile years we have done everything: we have built straw monsters, we have silk-screened hundreds of t-shirts (and we have made many mistakes), we did fairs and events, ran a temporary shop, organized a street art festival, drawn where it happened. Above all, we have cultivated friendships and esteem that still last. Even if a few years have passed, when you think about it, many of the current projects are children of this wonderful experience.

The project was attended by many, but the most involved were P54, James Kalinda, Elisa Maestri with his Grapefruit Art Book and myself.
